Synergy Live 2015

The temperature was up and the wind pumping, but that didn’t stop anyone from rocking out at this years Synergy Live hosted at Theewaterskloof Dam outside of Cape Town. I only managed to pop in during the Friday, but was lucky to watch the likes of Monark, Black Cat Bones and Shorstraw to name a few. Awesome night, enjoy the pics…

Jeremy Loops at Kirstenbosch

Kirstenbosch Gardens was the setting for a concert by Jeremy Loops, a South African folk loop artist. Known for his hits like ‘Down South‘ and ‘Skinny Blues‘, Jeremy along side his rocking band had the packed out lawn singing along to his catchy tunes. Using a variety of pedals, he creates layed songs often with building one musical line on top of the other, reaching a pinnacle of loop folk sing-a-long tunes to get the body moving.

Flash Poets captured beautiful moments of the local duo ‘Digby & the Lullaby’ at an intimate venue tucked away within Canal Walk. Smooth, romantic, acoustic melodies washed over the crowd and the love the two singer/songwriters have for each other was obvious, giving their lyrics an authentic punch to the heart. Awesome night rocking out with ‘The Rescu

I had a lot of fun shooting this event! nothing says it better than a night out with some great Rock and Roll Music!
The band with a misspelt name “The Rescu” had an energy about them… and i managed to capture some photos to show for it.

The venu was Mercury Live; one of the best Alternative, Rock, Punk, Glam, Indie etc. social gathering places in Cape Town, heck maybe even in South Africa!
Thanks once again friends from The Rescue for an rocking night!
